Radiation series

In my Open Studio class I've been working on some images from my radiation experience. Again, these are just thrown on my dining room table, curly edged and awful color balance (don't let the college that I got my MFA in Photography see these, they'll take my degree back!), but you get the idea.

Radiations Series #1 - watercolor crayon and collage (tissue paper, origami paper, origami screen, tracing paper)

Radiation Series #2 - watercolor crayon and india ink marker

Radiation Series #3 - watercolor crayon and india ink marker

Those are stunning! They are so alive with color and movement. Do you display your artwork in your home? I would want those on my walls!

Thanks Tracy and Jill! I don't really have much of my own artwork on display in our house, but a few pieces here and there (usually A. puts them up). The colors are actually more vivid in real life, they got kind of washed out in the photos. I'm known for my use of bright colors in Open Studio class. This June the Wellness Community is having their Celebration of Hope and is putting up an art show from Open Studio. Maybe I'll submit these, since they have more of a cancer theme than most of my work.
