The Aerogarden seed pods claim that the salad greens will sprout in 1 to 3 days. I started up the garden on Sunday afternoon and by Monday, 24 hours later there were most definitely sprouts. This photo was taken today, 4 days after starting it. There are 7 of these pods. Won't be long before we'll be swimming in salad greens! There's nothing like growing food in the middle of winter to bring your spirits up.

Cool! We've been doing radish sprouting experiments for our curriculum writing, and it's fun to watch the little guys grow. How much more fun to watch something you'll get to eat at the end!
